Kerala Food Festival Success | August 14, 2009

kerala-flyer1It’s been a very exciting month for the Mint and Mustard, following the launch of Cardiff’s first ever Kerala Food Festival.  We have been absolutely delighted with the response from our customers to our innovative Kerala menu which was personally created by Chef Anand George.

A very special party was held last week to commemorate this festival with guests including MP Rhodri Morgan and his wife Julie Morgan, together with a wonderful ensemble of friends, journalists, critics and businesses who have followed us and supported us since our launch in 2007.

Chef Anand George and his team didn’t disappoint with their culinary skills by creating a spectacular feast including tangy duck roast and mouth watering  lamb stew which received glowing reviews. Read the reviews on the Western Mail online and Echo online.  The exotic menu also included classic ingredients from his home town of Kerala in South India such as fresh coconut and authentic spices.
